Itinerary
9:40a.m.
Walk from the Nagoya Marriott Associa Hotel (2nd floor lobby) to the Nagoya Station Meitetsu Bus Center. Take a local bus to Magome Bus Station (about 80 minutes).
Magome-juku Walk
Walk through Magome, a lodging town which prospered on the Nakasendo highway connecting Kyoto and Tokyo during the 16th century (about 110 minutes). Continue to Tsumago by local bus.
Tsumago-juku Walk
Walk through Tsumago, a lodging town which prospered on the Nakasendo highway connecting Kyoto and Tokyo during the 16th century (about 60 minutes). Travel to Kisoji Resort by shuttle.
Chopstick Making Workshop
Make your own chopsticks at Kisoji Resort (about 40 minutes). Travel to Nagiso Station by shuttle.
Nagiso Station
Return to Nagoya by rapid service train (about 120 minutes).
6:00 - 6:45p.m.
Tour disbands upon arrival at Nagoya Station.
Remarks
- The visit to Tsumago and Magome includes a great deal of walking, so please wear clothes and shoes comfortable for walking. The weather is cold from October to February, so please bring a coat and warm clothing.
- Taxi may be used instead of local bus.
- After the Tsumago-juku walk, taxi may be used for transportation.
- The itinerary of this tour may change due to road, weather, or other operational concerns
