One day before
Train tickets and itinerary are delivered to your hotel or other address within Japan at least one day prior to departure.

Day 1: Tokyo - Kyoto
Proceed to Tokyo Station on your own and board the Shinkansen Hikari super express for Kyoto listed on your ticket. Specific departure times or seat assignments cannot be designated. The departure time from Tokyo will be between 6:20 a.m. and 7:20 a.m. Arrive in Kyoto between 9:10 a.m. and 9:55 a.m.

After arrival in Kyoto, free at leisure to explore. Hotel check-in times will be listed in the itinerary you receive along with your ticket. You may leave your luggage with your hotel before checking in. Stay overnight at your accommodation in Kyoto.

Day 2: Kyoto - Tokyo
Free at leisure until departure.

Proceed to Kyoto station on your own and board the Shinkansen Hikari super express for Tokyo listed on your ticket. Specific departure times or seat assignments cannot be designated. The departure time from Kyoto will be between 11:50 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Arrive in Tokyo between 2:40 p.m. and 4:40 p.m.
