Day 1: UK to Tokyo
Overnight flight to Tokyo |
Day 2: Narita Airport - Tokyo
The staff will meet you at Narita Airport and escort you to a reserved taxi that will take you to your hotel in Tokyo. Please note that the staff will not accompany you to your hotel.
After check in at the hotel, the rest of Day 2 is free time.

Day 3: Tokyo
7:55 - 8:45 a.m.
Full day tour of Tokyo. In the morning, visit Tokyo Tower and attend a tea ceremony at Happoen Garden.
After lunch, visit Imperial Palace Plaza Nijubashi Bridge, take a Sumida River cruise (40 min.), visit Sensoji Temple and Nakamise shopping arcade in Asakusa, and drive through Ginza before returning to Hamamatsucho Bus Terminal at 5:10 p.m.
5:30 - 6:30 p.m.
Drop-off service to your hotel provided.

Day 4: Tokyo - Nikko - Tokyo
7:55 - 8:45 a.m.
Full day tour to Nikko. In the morning, travel to Nikko by coach (160 min.) and visit Nikko Toshogu Shrine (100 min.).
After a Japanese-style lunch, visit Tamozawa Imperial Villa and Kirifuri Falls before returning to Tokyo. Note: On Tuesdays and other days that the Tamozawa Imperial Villa is closed, Rinnoji Temple Treasure Hall and Shoyo-en Garden will be visited instead.
7:00 - 8:00 p.m.
After returning to Tokyo by coach (160 min.), the tour will disband in Ginza or Shinjuku.

Day 5: Tokyo - Mt. Fuji - Hakone
8:00 - 8:45 a.m.
Full day tour to Mt. Fuji and Hakone. In the morning, travel to Mt. Fuji by coach (120 min.), visit Fuji Visitor Centre, and drive up to Mt. Fuji's 5th station before heading to Hakone.
After a Japanese-style lunch in Hakone, ride the Hakone Ropeway (20 min.), visit Owakudani, and take a cruise on Lake Ashi (30 min.).
5:00 - 6:00 p.m.
Check in at Yumoto Fujiya Hotel in Hakone.

Day 6: Hakone - Kyoto - Nara - Kyoto
8:00 - 9:30 a.m.
Depart the hotel and board a Kodama Shinkansen (bullet train) to Kyoto at Odawara Station (180 min.).
After lunch in Kyoto, travel to Nara by coach and visit Todaiji Temple and Nara Park, Kasuga Grand Shrine, and Nara Nagomikan. After Nara sightseeing is completed in the afternoon/evening, you will be dropped off at your hotel in Kyoto.
6:30 - 7:30 p.m.
Check in at your hotel in Kyoto.

Day 7: Kyoto
7:50 - 8:45 a.m.
Full day tour of Kyoto and Nara. In the morning, visit Nijo Castle, Kinkakuji (Golden Pavilion) and Kyoto Imperial Palace.
After lunch, visit Heian Jingu Shrine, Sanjusangendo and Kiyomizu Temple.
5:30 - 6:30 p.m.
Return to your hotel in Kyoto.

Day 8: Kyoto - Hiroshima - Kyoto
7:20 - 8:00 a.m.
Full day tour to Hiroshima. Travel to Hiroshima from Kyoto Station by Nozomi (110 min.) or Hikari (125 min.) Shinkansen. After arriving in Hiroshima, visit Miyajima Island and Itsukushima Shrine, Peace Memorial Park and Museum, and then visiting the Atomic Bomb Dome.
6:30 - 7:00 p.m.
Return to Kyoto by Nozomi or Hikari Shinkansen.
8:20 - 9:00 p.m.
Return to your hotel in Kyoto.

Day 10: Kyoto - Kansai Airport
A shared van will pick you up at your hotel at the arranged time to take you to Kansai Airport. |
