Day 1: UK to Tokyo
Overnight flight to Tokyo |
Day 2: Narita Airport - Tokyo
The staff will meet you as you exit customs at Narita Airport and escort you to a reserved taxi that will take you to your hotel in Tokyo.
After check in at the hotel the rest of Day 2 is free time.

Day 3: Tokyo
7:55 - 8:45 a.m.
Join a morning coach tour of Tokyo and visit Tokyo Tower, Imperial Palace Plaza, and Sensoji Temple and Nakamise shopping arcade in Asakusa.
12:00 - 12:20 p.m.
Following a drive through Ueno, the tour will disband in Akihabara or at Tokyo Station around noon, leaving you free to explore Tokyo on your own in the afternoon.

Day 4: Tokyo - Mt. Fuji - Hakone - Kyoto
8:00 - 8:45 a.m.
In the morning, travel to Mt. Fuji by coach (120 min.), visit Fuji Visitor Centre, and drive up to Mt. Fuji's 5th station before heading to Hakone.
After a Japanese-style lunch in Hakone, ride the Hakone Ropeway, visit Owakudani and take a cruise on Lake Ashi (30 min.). Board a Kodama Shinkansen (bullet train) to Kyoto at Odawara Station (180 min.).
9:30 - 10:30 p.m.
Check in at your hotel in Kyoto.

Day 5: Kyoto - Nara - Kyoto
7:50 - 8:45 a.m.
Join a day tour of Kyoto and Nara. In the morning, visit Nijo Castle, Kinkakuji (Golden Pavilion), and Kyoto Imperial Palace.
After lunch at Kyoto Nagomikan, heading to Nara and visit Todaiji Temple and Nara Park, Kasuga Grand Shrine, and Nara Nagomikan. After Nara sightseeing is completed in the afternoon/evening, you will be dropped off at your hotel in Kyoto.
6:30 - 7:30 p.m.
Return to your hotel in Kyoto.

Day 7: Kyoto - Kansai Airport
A shared van will pick you up at your hotel at the arranged time to take you to Kansai Airport. |
