West Sanyo Japan Rail Pass
The Japan Rail West Sanyo Pass provides unlimited travel for the larger and more westerly areas of Osaka, Okayama, Hiroshima and Hakata.
Unlike the Kansai pass, the Sanyo pass allows travel on the Shinkansen Bullet Train (including the fastest "Nozomi" bullets), and also on the Miyajima ferry line in Hiroshima.
Transportation
The Sanyo Area Pass allows unlimited use, within the designated area, of many trains and transportation services operated by JR-West. These include the "Nozomi", "Hikari", and "Kodama" Sanyo Shinkansen super express trains, "Haruka" limited express trains, ordinary class cars on local trains including reserved and non-reserved seats, and the Miyajima ferry line in Hiroshima that goes to Miyajima Island.
When using reserved seats, it is necessary to obtain a reserved seat ticket, which can be made at no extra charge, from a JR-West ticket office "Green Window" or a TiS travel agent prior to boarding the train.
Validity
The West Sanyo Pass is available in both 4 and 8 day tickets and valid for consecutive days only.
