    Luggage storage at Narita Airport

My son needs to leave a surf board for several hours during the afternoon of his arrival in Tokyo.
Are there facilities for leaving it in any of the central stations - it is quite large?

    Surf’s up

    Yes, at terminal 2!

Narita Airport has storage facilities located in terminal 2, where you can leave you luggage for a small price at either the arrivals or departure areas.

    How do I use them?

There are two baggage storage areas in both the arrivals and departures levels where they are open daily from 07:00 to 22:00. You can pay a set price each day the luggage is stored depending on the baggage size. A normal sized item such as a suitcase will cost 500 yen (£2.20) per day and a larger item is 800 yen (£3.50) for a full day. I stored my skis here so a surfboard will be no problem!

    Coin-operated storage lockers

You can also find coin-operated storage lockers in terminal 2 that cost 300 yen (£1.30) per day for a maximum of three days which are great for smaller bags and other small items you do not wish to carry with you.
