simple utensils and lacquer ware that have been made in Takayama for hundreds of years.
The Takayama Festival held in spring and autumn is considered one of Japan's three most beautiful festivals.
Yatai paraded in the Autumn festival are exhibited at the Takayama Yatai Kaikan.

Train tickets and hotel voucher will be delivered to your hotel one day prior to departure.
Day 1: OSAKA/KYOTO - TAKAYAMA
Transfer to Kyoto/Shin-Osaka Station on your own and board a limited express train leaving between 8:00 - 8:40.
Arrive at Takayama between 12:00-12:20.
After arrival,free at leisure.
Overnight at Hotel Associa Takayama Resort or Takayama Green Hotel.
Day 2: TAKAYAMA - KYOTO/OSAKA
Free at leisure until departure
Transfer to Takayama station on your own and board JR express
train leaving between 15:30-15:50 and arrive at Kyoto/Osaka between 19:00-20:00.
